TLDR, if i asked unity what time it was, it would say the same time for many frames

(time as in audio time)

so i added an abstraction layer so i can perfectly sync gameplay with audio time

in this example the 3 numbers should be the same,

My audio time : unity frame time : unity audio time

but you can see the unity audio time likes to report 0 time passes, then jump 20 - 30ms
