well, all I can say is I work much better on complex projects if someone is telling me what things I need to be making. I've been keeping all my personal projects as simple as possible and they generally have one quite specific thing that they do. My graphics engine doesn't really do just one thing, but in a way it does nothing on its own.

I'm currently doing a significant redesign of my graphics engine and adding some extensive tests for everything. I haven't reached cameras yet, but I'll let you know when I do. I'm basically trying to confirm I haven't fucked anything up in my understanding of rendering (and also literally testing the engine). Even if I don't use that engine for this project, it'll still be best for me to finish that.

The frequencies used for upload and download are different. They can't just reallocate downstream frequencies to upstream and make the upload better. The amps in the streets that take your home's signal to the cable plant that's hooked up to the fiber operate on specific bands. They don't just use a wideband amp because those have poor snr. It's like if 2.4GHz and 5GHz wifi were one for upload and the other for download. Reducing the bandwidth for the 5GHz signal isn't going to increase it for 2.4GHz

But once I'd made everyone in the world mad, and it tried to run an event that normally required at least a neutral standing, the game shit itself and crashed
