laptops are more powerful than you might think. before i built my desktop, i used an index and full body on a laptop with a 2060 in it and averaged around 30 fps in crowded public worlds. if you go to best buy's website right now and search up gaming laptops, the majority have at least a 3060 in them. that'll run vr.

There are incompetent children players who get killed fast and then there are these competitive VRchat players. Hi, so at some point I thought I'd say hello when approaching a group instead of just staring, and now a different problem started to occur. In general I don't remember names and faces much (and I've disabled very poor avatars and that's like 3/4ths of the playerbase), but sometimes I see familiar names. Also a while ago I got recognised by someone who I have no memory of interacting with.
Now when I enter a place that's not "black cat/japan shrine/very popular" I get the feeling that everybody already knows me and they are like "Oh, it's that guy, now he's gonna come here, say hello, then stare for a minute and leave" and now I don't even want to approach anybody.

Make sure you don't have any gamepad controllers, steering wheels, flight sticks, gas pedals, or any other XInput devices connected via wire or bluetooth? o:

all avatars are usable in VR, but PC-only avatars will not work with standalone Quest
just as Quest-only avatars will not work on PC
you'd need to get it commissioned, via somewhere like VRCTraders or the VRChat forums

If you gonna kink your cable around a super thin sharp corner, then yeah fibres don't like that as much as copper.
But they're also not as fragile as you think.

Here we're talking more about a thicker core with probably a more robust strand then a network one as a bit higher losses are fine due to the much smaller distance required
