its just funny, because although the sims makes sense as a target for ripping since its a game with a lot of assets for realistic-proportioned human clothing, its also the sims, a game designed for desktop which is largely played froma top-down perspective, which means the actual assets are incredibly low res and were never meant to be viewed to the degree of closeness as they are in VR

Open your radical (circle hand) menu and get to the main menu for that, go to settings and somewhere in there youll eventually find a afk detection slider in the bottom right

if its turned on and doesnt let you turn it off tell me

in short I'd recommend an Index for a consumer headset, the Varjo headsets are nice but they're business/enterprise headsets, are extremely expensive for what they are (and keep being expensive thanks to the subscription), and are more meant for businesses that could make use of LIDAR world-scanning and mixed reality

i.e CAD, designing, etc

could also wait to see if the Valve Deckard proves to be anything
