Tbh cameras aren't too heavy. If you've vrc+ you basically can use that profile picture feature to make a picture and it doesn't take any performance

I think it's more related to saving the picture

I used some cheap Velcro straps I found at the dollar store, along with several rubber bands to hold the trackers in place without occluding them

It won't be perfect, and your leg movements might be a little jiggly, but it's certainly better than nothing while you wait for the good straps

firstly you wana head over to the safety settings then click on performance options make the minimum displayed performance rank to very poor and change the avatar size to maybe 200mb?

next you want to check your safety shield level to make sure all the avatar is ticked on every rank

lastly try clearing you cache at the setting menu > advanced setting > clear downloaded content cache

if its still broken try messaging vrchat support

Does anyone know of an easy fix to prevent my pov sinking down to the avatar's neck or chest when sitting or laying down in full body tracking? Adjusting the user's height helps a little, but still very noticeably off center. I get my avatars from public worlds and i get this problem with every avatar out there

try manually uninstalling vrchat and the mods and reinstalling vanilla vrchat and see if it fixes

do know mods for vrchat not only cause bugs but are also against TOS

afaik that'd just be logging into one account - also, you can rank up regardless of using a Steam/Oculus/Viveport account, but it'll be slower than with a VRChat account
Ranks are determined by many things, like friends added, worlds visited, avatars/worlds uploaded (if the account has permission) active hours and etc, along with not getting kicked/banned/muted/reported, etc

There's a whole list of avatar worlds in the worlds menu if you scroll down, and a search bar at the top right. Look for an avatar pedestal (they tend to look like flat cylinders with an image of the avatar above it) and click on it, and you'll change your avatar!
If you want to save the new avatar you found, open your Avatars menu and click Favorite

eGPUs are expensive, some of them don't actually come with a GPU (i.e you'll have to buy an expensive box and a GPU seperately), and you need to absolutely make sure you have the right ports for them

RAM tends to be upgradable in laptops, and imo will probably be what's crashing you

for upgrading a laptop though, I'd pretty much recommend getting a new one

Honestly if u really want to i say just buy the quest. Even if you upgrade ur pc one day ur quest will still be a good option bc you can run it wired or wireless and its good at both. The only thing is its harder to get full body tracking but people are making solutions as we speak
