Woojer is sound based, yes. Big factor in their preference is that it works pretty much everywhere and with everything.

Though I've also talked to people with the Bhaptics vest who liked it too.

Could hear the Bhaptics vibrating through their mic when I'd touch them, though.

I'm hesitant to get either because I just don't think I could shake the "I'm wearing a subwoofer/vibrator on my chest" sensation.

Yeah, that's what I heard as well. So Woojer does have a lot of pros considering it can be used with everything, I go to a lot of VRC music events too so it could be cool if it worked in those areas.

Meanwhile the X40 does have the localized touch feature which you know, seems to me like it would be amazing to experience. It also seems more comfortable to wear.

I didn't catch why you are doing it in the first place, but the reason I see people do it is so a program can have dedicated cores they will run everything on but say 4 threads then use the extra threads dedicate them to "x"
