The broad strokes are you re-size and orient all the UV maps to fit on a new texture map and then bake the source textures on to the new texture map, resulting in a unified UV map that corresponds to a new texture with all of it on.

That's tracking issues, try reloading your vr program or restarting your computer. The controllers are still sending the signals but the tracking system just doesn't recognize them or something.

look in the top right corner near your name when your vr is connected. if its not there, you can also just click on vrchat and choose to open it in steam vr mode in the popup that comes up when you click play
you can also type "steam" into the search bar at the top of your library (above the list of games you own) and steam vr should appear that way, whether you have your headset connected or not

the 3080 has 10GB, the 3090 has 24GB
10GB on the 3080 is kinda borderline to be honest, as I run out quite often on the 8GB on my 2070S
(with the index that is)
and in certain workloads the RTX 3090 is quite more performant than the 3080, lighting for example.
it has also 23% more memory bandwidth, which is a huge deal, 20% more cuda cores, 18% more tensor cores (sadly still less than the Titan RTX). And if you ever used Tensor Cores for something... that's a huge improvement

and just to be clear, I didn't say that the 3080 is bad, it's certainly a really good card, and will serve most people really well. But there are also reasons to get the 3090. And that "it's only 8-10%" better is in itself a false statement as you can't just breakdown a very complicated machine to one simple percentage.

haha, but no. It handles surveillance (approximately 25Tb) and the rest is network usage data (telecom information) for the company I work for. It's not personally owned by me.
We work with analytics and AI so it requires lots of power and storage.

That error tends to be caused by bad connectivity/packet loss issues - I'd recommend restarting your router and disabling your VPN/changing it's connected location if you're using one o:
