I literally only use very poor avatars. But i use the "good" very poor ones which don't make an impact really. And i can say that because I've a very weak PC where it's a surprise it even is able to run VR.

Yes, I've tried messing with that, like emulating the mouse, but it seems vrchat will ignore the mouse since the last update while in vr, and only reacts to that while the menu is open

Specifically, I am thinking of emulating a VR headset for cross-view stereoscopic 3D, and later figuring out a way to stream it to my phone, since I already have a phone VR headset I got as a gift once that doesn't really fit my glasses and is very limited but at least works.

The phone one, of course, would be parallel view, likely through the cheap VR headset container.

I find that cross view works best for big far away monitors, while parallel view works best for small monitors like the one of my phone.

I find that it is easier to focus parallel view than cross view as well, perhaps because I am viewing it on a screen I can bring closer.

I think it is best to start with a good PC.

Then go quest 2 linked and save for a HTC FBT setup.

You must obtain at least "New User" Trust Rank in our Trust and Safety system in order to upload content. You can get this by just spending a few hours in VRChat, hop some worlds, and make some friends. Give it some time and you'll be able to upload content in no time.

As an aside, you must have a VRChat account to upload content. That means you can't use a Steam account, Oculus account, or Viveport account to upload content like worlds or avatars.

So... the way avatars work in VRChat is, you visit avatar worlds to find avatars you like. Uploading requires knowledge of Unity/Blender.

then you can use any avatar. They don't need to be quest compatible when you use link because it basically makes the headset work as a pcvr headset (your pc still needs to be powerful enough for vr)

You must obtain at least "New User" Trust Rank in our Trust and Safety system in order to upload content. You can get this by just spending a few hours in VRChat, hop some worlds, and make some friends. Give it some time and you'll be able to upload content in no time.

As an aside, you must have a VRChat account to upload content. That means you can't use a Steam account, Oculus account, or Viveport account to upload content like worlds or avatars.
