Anyway I can let someone on the vrc team know about a possible bug I found in vrc without it getting flooded or lost ? I've been doing testing on my own with quest 2 and I found a bug that hampers performance and I tried contacting support but I pretty much got "don't know why frames are worse on quest 2 then quest 1" so I don't wanna let this possible bug go unnoticed and not fixed

I hope so, I don't really play on quest 2 much more since I got my pc issues fixed but it's nice to go back when I don't wanna do pc while I'm working on other stuff and it happened to be an issue only on the quest 2 specifically since a quest 1 user had no problem with the mirror

My first asumption would be VRChat does Mono Voice (which makes sense) and doesn't downmix L/R but disgard the second channel instead.

I made a account mistake and want to know if I can fix it. I started with VRchat when I got my Oculus Quest and I logged in with my Oculus account, when I later got my PC I used Steam to install VRchat and by pure habit I took "Sign in with Steam", and suddenly I had one more account, today I wanted to explore how to upload content and I made a VRChar account and [Facepalm] now I got a third account and all with same name. What shall I do, I have friends and so on the Oculus account, but it seams like I need the VRchat account to upload content, is it possible to merge two accounts?

If you use Oculus Quest as stand alone you can talk, but it still a bug that make so you can not record your own voice if you capture a video.

@dusky crest I don’t know if it can grow, but it will diminish as you use vr more. If you want it to come back you’ll need to take a break from vr for a long time.

I would recommend against using comfort turning and if you can do not rely on joystick turning - turn in real life and move around your room instead. Getting used to artificial locomotion or “getting your VR legs” tends to reduce susceptibility to phantom touch as well.

If your brain adjusts to VR sickness by understanding that none of it’s real, that gets rid of phantom touch as well.

#

Other things you can do is use a fan if you’re in a windy world or pump up the AC if you’re in a cold world. Anything that increases immersion will increase phantom touch.

#

Avoid things like jetpacks or vehicles which break immersion in your inner ear as you don’t feel the gravity shift

#

Basically phantom touch and immersion go hand-in-hand. What helps one helps the other

#

If you can cope, disable the right analog stick from being able to turn at all. Force it to happen in real life. Will be annoying for a while

Copyright is still a problem without a marketplace, just the thought that users can upload and share copyrighted models is same problem as folk upload and chare movies on TPB, and TPB was punished for what the users actions. A marketplace would make it easier for content creators to file a DCMA to remove bad content, and good creators would gain from that.

I think VRChat is smart to keep the average user from running into things asking them to pay within the game. If they do make their own virtual maketplace to buy stuff it would probably be better outside of the game, where people who actually want to pay for stuff can find it, but that’s just my opinion.

Right now to most people who would not want to pay for anything, all that stuff is out of sight, out of mind - the game is just free and people paying for commissions and stuff isn’t part of the game

yeah its just for games like pavlov so when you look to the sides, it uses the hip thing as movement orientation so you can move forward while looking around and you don't need to tilt the thumbstick differently

Considering they have the fun issue of never coming out of sleep mode sometimes that would be nice. The only time ive seen my headset display anything without tracking is a little message saying "Steam VR is starting up Please wait"

@broken plover 1.) you probably have more practice in English typing 2.) the QWERTY keyboard was designed with English words in mind (alternating hands for each letter as much as possible, common letters in center)
