Honestly imo I would say a quest because it can play rift games through a link cable and virtual desktop and you can also play while travelling standalone maybe buy a few comfort options as it can be a bit heavy for long sessions but not too much as long as you get a good fit and with virtual desktop you can play games like Minecraft and half life alyx wirelessly surprisingly

You could try to optimize your own connection tho. If you're on WiFi, make sure your computer is close to the router and have nothing between the two, or better yet, switch to an Ethernet connection.

There's also switching to a faster internet service, but that costs extra money, so I don't recommend changing your service without doing research.

Mhmm. I just used them as a windows replacement for productivity. Used mint in highschool, Ubuntu later on, and manjaro recently. For windows productivity replacement they all seem pretty similar. But if you get into the technical stuff, there's difference I don't understand

well all friends have to have started out as strangers at first just find some ppl that are talking about a topic that you like/know about (eg cars) then join in (ask what car they like most or what car you like most) if ppl are in public worlds they usually don't mind and accept that strangers will come and talk to even if already in a group 👍

BTW I only noticed today having your fingers on certain positions on the VR controller makes your avatar do different finger patterns, which somehow also influences the facial expression
