Depends on what you use to login. Display name can be changed once per 3 months, but only when you use VRChat account. If you are using Steam or Oculus account, you are stuck with your login as displayed name.

The problems with blackouts and audio was a lunch thing. That was fixed long ago. The mic issue isn't the mic hardware itself, but more dependant your PC's USB controller

Some don't provide enough bandwidth and can make the mic fight with the headphones for bandwidth

@signal gazelle it's not so straight forward because they use different screen types. The quest on paper is higher resolution, matching the Vive pro with 1440x1600 per eye panels. But the screens are pentile, only having 2 subpixels per pixel. Each blue and red subpixel alternates. Most OLED headsets like Vive pro and others do this as well.

Rift S, index, and other LCD headsets use an RGB pixel layout, having an even number of subpixels, and going by subpixel counts instead of "whole pixels" the rift S ends up having around a million more subpixels per eye than the quest or Vive pro, and it's quite perceivable. The SDE ends up looking a lot lower on the rift s

@digital rose if your avatar is tiptoeing, your height setting is set too low. You need to increase the height. It's also a good idea to use a mirror when adjusting height, since looking down tends to raise the back of the head, pulling the body upwards. This is because the VRChat client is really trying to make your armspan fit the avatar, not your body height, so when the arms are disproportionate, everything else gets weird.

@shrewd cedar the Tracking issues was a problem at launch. As it is now, it's super solid and I feel it's more solid than my old rift CV1 that had 3 external sensors.

The quest uses the exact same Tracking System, so I don't know why that would be a "safer" route.

Quest has a slight lower latency when it's in stand alone mode, but when it's connected to a PC, it's worse since it has to jump through a lot of hoops to get the same result as a dedicated PC headset. It's enough to affect he feel and scores in beatsaber for the worse, and that's one of the reasons, I prefer rift s

if youre new to vrchat you probably dont have the required rank to upload avatars yet. You'll need to rank up to atleats new user rank to upload. So make sure you have that before doing anything avatar related
