in order to upload you should be signed into the vrcsdk in unity and your account should also be a Green User in order to upload. they should send you some notification aswell as to wether or not you can upload when that happens.

It's something to do more with USB bandwidth rather than the rift S itself. The same Headset might have the robotic mic on one computer or USB ports, but not on another

#

For me it only happens on specific ports on my motherboard

If you free up the bandwidth by using Bluetooth headphones, or something, than the mic won't have that problem either if it is having the static issue

Well the difference in VR is that when you move your head the space between the pixels moves across the image

So it looks EXACTLY like looking through a screen door or a fencing mask

I can eventually get my cosmos elite to be like... the most perfect headset in the world... but it takes like 10 solid minutes of adjustments.

Definitely the quest but you should also get a strap add one for the head and to balance the weight out
