Point being is that direct pings will always show up with the red number

At the same time, enabling "notifications" for all messages in a specific channel will not actually show you from which channel you've heard the sound from

Sound will play, but no indicator for where it came from
Can be pretty bad in servers that just have it set to all messages for some reason

Hey so Im really upset, I had to give in my Rift s since I didnt have the right port, as the updated the G-7 Dell and didnt infrom players on the Ready Check Vr thing for pc. So Im having to get the quest and Really want to have a fun experience in Vrchat, like being able to see all avatars instead of clicking on everyone to select avatar settings. There also no recent videos on how the quest works with Vrchat Now. Please help.

Nolas, if you're using SteamVR, you can force motion smoothing on to cap framerate to half your headset's refresh rate.
For desktop mode, hold shift while starting the client for options.

i just told you how my set up is configured, have it set up so it doesn't try to pump out as many frames as it can but still enough to accommodate for the high refresh rate of the monitor, since I'm pretty sure your tv has a much lower refresh rate than a pc monitor, but ok, i guess i don't know what im talking about

You know, I've been wondering something. Why is it that you can't type in the name of an avatar you have in your personal avatar list, default VRC list, Legacy list and favorites into a search bar to find them?

Because avatar search isn't a thing. Avatars were never intended to be a thing made for other people. The focus was on making avatars for yourself, but the also allowed the ability to share your personal avatars with some others. Over time it evolved to what it is now

Also what would people search for? Considering searching for copyright characters shouldn't be the intention even if there was a search feature

What I mean is being able to search for avatars that you yourself have uploaded to the game or just the simple copyright free VRC avatars or avatars that you have added to your favorites.

To give context on what I mean, I have over 200 avatars uploaded to VRChat and say I decide that I want to choose the first avatar I uploaded to use. I have to take quite an amount of time while scrolling through my list of avatars to be able to find the first one I uploaded. I wasn't meaning being able to search the whole list of every single avatar uploaded to the game by every single individual. I meant to only search through the personal category which is the avatars that you uploaded yourself, avatars that you added to your favorites, or even some of VRC's own default avatars they give you to choose from in-game.

Relogging usually fixes that, if it was completely gone it wouldn't load at all. You would be the placeholder loading avatar forever, well, at least until you switch to something else anyways.

and it'll sound more like you're heading closer and further from the mic rather than from left to right

Stereo audio sources actually make no sense in a 3D world. If the sound is coming from a point in space than it can’t have a left and right channel.

If you make the audio 2D, then yes
