If not then it's a pretty good option as it allows you to turn it into a PC VR headset when you get a PC capable of VR.

That's because Direct X Mouse Pointer unhooks the mouse form the window when active.
That's the only drawback with windowed, some apps still keep the mouse within the confines of the application in windowed mode, borderless releases the mouse when leaving the edges.
VRChat unfortunately, happens to be the former.

Oculus.com is sill the most reliable place to buy an oculus headset. They do not overcharge, they ship in 2 days anywhere in the US, for free. The only extra fee is whatever your state tax is.
The site says out of stock, but they go in stock 3 to 8 times every day. Just subscribe to a site like NowInStock.net and jump on it. It only takes a little bit of effort, you have to want it more than other people.

How's the vrc community in game in general? Is it welcoming like do people accept random people in their discussion or they tend to only want to keep it only with their group.
