VRChat's networking is based on rented Unity Photon servers.

Photon is like a dumb interface on which stuff happens. which means that there's no sane way to have a server-side anti-cheat unless major parts of VRChat get rewritten. So for as long as that'll happen, the game client is always trusted. and can do whatever to other players.

@dusk tartan Vive trackers only have a chance of causing connection problems if you're using 2.4GHz wifi

5ghz wifi or wired and you'll have no problems

I have q question regarding the instances inivte+ allows any user who joined my private world invite others and accept them right? and invite only allows everybdoy to invite anyone but I have to accept it

Invite+let's anyone accept Join requests. Invite only means only you can accept them.

Neither Invite or Invite+ forward other people's join requests to you

(invite+ instances are bugged atm for some reason. I was in one a few weeks ago and couldnt accept invites or invite other people)

It was probably just requests being buggy in general, not all invites.

There's a lot of private events that would shut down if they were straight up always bugged.

hmmm suddenly there seems to be a lot of avatars that just... dont show up for me, like completely invisible... but they aint invisible avatars...

also my game seems to be killing itself quite a bit recently... like sometimes I try to change world, and the game doesnt freeze, but it gets like locked... everyone dissapears from my screen, and stuff in the world still moves(particles and such), but the screen doesnt change... so I ahve to force quit...

Yo. Is there a way to use the no turning option in VRChat? I mean like turning off turning around using the thumbstick/Vive touchpad and having to physically turn 360 degrees.

you could just not touch the thumbstick that lets y ou turn

When i use my HTC Vive my FPS is capped to 45, when it used to be at 90fps all the time. Is there any way to get it back to 90?
