If you only have a steam account, you can upgrade using the in-game settings menu.

If both accounts already exist you instead want to merge them using the website

There are a couple takeaways I've noticed with the new update, 1. Sound from VRC_VideoSync won't come back on if you have a False GameObjectActive when pushing a button and Re-Enabling it
2. We can't sit on avatars again, which I don't mind but other people have told me

Basically if you disable Sound via VRCTrigger through a GameObjectActive event and want to turn it back on, the video playing will be mute until the next one plays

This is a problem because I have 2 worlds where the player can disable the sound when entering another room, and exiting it will cause the video to mute, this is a huge problem especially if people are watching a movie

I did this only because you can't really escape the Sound of VRC_VideoSync

The way I would check is I would pull up my mini menu, point at someone, and then point at no one and your own alias and icon should be lit up and that's where you can see this colored border.

@heavy lance no Headset has body Tracking. Vive does have individual tracking pucks, which weren't made for body tracking, but has been repurposed for that by develpers. You need 3 of them and they're $100 each. Those pucks work nativly with Vive, index, and pimax.

Vive has been discontinued, but was $500.

The current market is:
Windows mixed reality like Samsung Odyssey+ for $230 (when on sale)

Oculus rift S or quest for $400

Vive comsos $500-$900 (not recommend due to game breaking bugs)

Valve index $1000

Yeah, I was just thinking having a depth sesnor like the kenect and a basic camera to track infrared reflective bands on the body to mimic the pucks. Since the base stations flood the room with IR anyways, you wouldn't need an emiter, and with two or more of these band cameras near the base stations, you can calculate the position in 3D space without needing to charge anything

Alrighty, on another note; I did some very quick testing. This new update seems to have made the game more unstable slightly. While I get 81fps without any dips, the game keeps trying to fade to steamvr while preforming most actions. My ping seems worse rather than better by a bit. By this I mean it actually climbed to 1000 with only 3 others in the room with me while i was flicking through my menu's. World sizes also seem to be a lie. I kept refreshing black cat and joining new ones with 16 people, only to find maybe 3 at most. Random freezes also occur frequently. They last maybe 1 sec. Loading into worlds seems a bit janky too. Seeing it stuck at 0% for a while way more frequently

Its really handy to be good with this stuff though. Will save you soo much time later in life when you have to do official stuff.
