Well everyone is very on edge about it so I don't see anyone pushing the envelope any time soon. SweetCheeks didn't know because they're new to streaming on Twitch as a whole, didn't expect 150 viewers, and didn't know that they've kept an eye on virtual streamers.
I'm sure we'll find out in a month how heavily it applies to VRC though once the initial alarm state wears off
but the whole Attire thing, realistically, should apply to the current person streaming VRChat even if it doesn't apply to others in the game

For me the only thing that fixed it was going back to room setup / floor height setup

Honestly the best way to win bids is to just bid, only once, what you’re actually willing to pay. All waiting does is leave it at a cheaper price for a longer time which attracts more people. People swear on bid sniping but it doesn’t actually work. It just makes you miss out more often.

SteamVR is likely pushing your render resolution down so your GPU can push the maximum framerate, set the resolution to a manual setting to stop it doing that.

The only headset that actually has individual finger Tracking is the index at $1000, but the rift S touch Controllers are good as well at simulating finger tracking since the VRChat hand gestures are mostly done by doing them irl

Any reason as to why my ping is in the thousands every time I join a world?
My ping average has gone from 200 to 400 in the last month or so, without any difference to my ISP speeds. Feels like the game is unplayable at peak times even though my internet is plenty fast to keep up with it

Well, internet speed is how fast you download. Ping is how soon you start downloading. So it effects speed, but only a little.

The only way they could have a chance is by having an in-game world/avatar creator/appication. If you can make content creation easy for everyone, more people will get involved. What sucks with VR chat is having to use unity for everything. Would be nice to make adjustments in game
the key is content creation, accessibility, and then of course optimization. If you can perfect all three, then you have revolutionized the vr social platform
tons of people play this game with old laptops and crappy internet. If you can have a potato mode for those people where they can access any world and be involved more, then you're going to see a spike in users and people who invest into the game
