One of the main issues with performance in VR-Chat is that the nature of amateur user generated content and unpredictable instances, tends to mean that there's always something being bottlenecked in one way or another.

#

Whether it's via a world or the avatars in it, there's a wide range of things that can be over burdened, even if most aspects of a scene are fine, and regardless of attempts to multithread.

#

Only takes one bozo with 1000 collision checks to walk in, and bam, the main thread is overloaded and now every other thread is forced to wait for it on every cycle.

#

Which drives the apparent usage rate of all the other cores into the ground, and makes the game look like it's only running on one.
The value of your multi threading gets cut to a quarter, because of one badly optimised user asset, and there's nothing the devs themselves can do about that.

#

Alternatively a world might be perfectly optimised in most regards, but have some subtle but really broken trigger looping in the background, just killing your frames without any apparent reason.

The protections and laws surrounding anti-discriminations based on sex and sexism toward women is not the same as that for racial minorities. The beleif that one race is biologically less capable than another in some some way to another is racist. The same argument against women is not sexist, it's realistic. Believing a race to be inferior is racist. Beliving a women to be inferior is also sexist. But the reasons for each are different.

But yes alot of people interested in VR and chatting in VR are not gamers, they've never used steam, or discord, or anything like that, they don't know the first thing about how to join anything remotely similar to VRChat, they find a subreddit, see a discord link, it loads up in their browser and they make a discord account, it dumps them here, and they think this is it.

Even if I had a VR-capable ready PC, I think I'd still rather get a Quest than a Rift S. If I wanted to connect it to my PC, I could, but also not needing the PC and the portability/mobility are so useful. I can take my Quest with me on trips if I want.

You do not have to have a shortness of breathing at all in order to have it, you might not even notice anything special.
Some even go completely symptomless besides runny nose or so, still can have the virus as a cause.

Normally you also stay at home if you can, If you are however short of breath then you will be going to the hospital likely.

You presumably need to play the game in a normal manner with your VRChat account, walking around, meeting people and also making some friends. Idling won't help.
According to many responses in this discord, a rough estimate would be ** 20-40 hours**, but big exceptions are possible.

Make sure you are not using a steam or oculus account and continue playing the game until you get a notification or e-mail.

Alrighty so I have an Oculus Rift CV1 with 3 sensors. I’m going to be switching to a Valve Index with two Vive 1.0 base stations. Should I expect tracing to get better, or worse?
