No one is mocking you. The fact is just that avatar creation is a little game content development task, so it is not easy. The things on VRChat website are the right ones, but if you made a mistake in it, it won't work - it is as unforgiving as if you do stuff to make a game and screw up. @turbid lotus

Hmm... Idk what breaks it, but it is a little lotery, how stable VRChat and the SDK will be on a computer. There are some things that break it, but we don't know them.

and its gonna be worse because the quest can handle way more than the game throws at it. They enforced high limits to make sure the performance is consistent. But on pc theres no such thing. Good luck trying to find out which person in the lobby is that one guy with a 2 million poly avatar thats destroying your framerate

There's actually quite a few avatars spreading around now that bypass a lot of safety settings sadly. It allows them to use custom animations and thus anything you can trigger with custom animations.

Hey folks. I need help. So, I was in a server, this guy wearing an irwin thanos skin crashed me. Now my game lags to hell, and crashes within a few minutes of me playing. And any time I go to my avatar screen, the entire game starts stuttering till it crashes and I can only see Ugandan knuckles in the background.

sounds like you probably got forced into an avatar that's crashing you - if you have time when you log in you can hit ctrl + \ to switch to a default, or you can log into the website and find the button the reset your avatar to the default
