ok so i finally reinstalled Unity 2017.4.28f1 for like the 3rd time, and same problem is happening. Unity will open, but the icon wont show in the taskbar and the window isn't visible, though when i open Task Manager, it shows that Unity is running.
also for some odd reason, if i play a Unity game, i can play it perfectly, but the Unity Editor window just wont show up and its making me mad. because i want to be able to upload avatars to vrchat

I just read about a slight oversight on the Quest version of VR-Chat that a few people are suffering right now.
Someone decided to upload a gigantic red robot avatar, big enough that you can't use your menus and switch out of it.
There's a bunch of Quest users cloning it, and ending up stuck, unable to switch out.

@ruby burrow Serves them right. Quest users (although I noticed it's kids in general) are obsessed with giant avatars. The Black Cat almost always has at least a few of them blocking everyone's vision.
But in terms of VRC competitors: RecRoom has been abandoned by most adults because all lobbies are just full of children now, Lavender has overwhelmingly negative reviews because it's basically just a paid for, but super buggy version of VRC with no content. The only real competitor at this point (although it's still rather early days) is Neos.
