here's a pro's and cons :
samsung odyssey :
pros : better screen / resolution , better build in audio , ipd adjustment, cheaper , leather facepad
cons : only 2 camera's , controllers feel meh , battery consumtion is around 4 to 6 hours on the controllers
Oculust rift S
pros : more camera's (so better tracking) more advanced controllers (touch parts on it) Controller battery life vary from few days to maybe even weeks (depending on how u use it)
cons No ipd , worse build in sound (really hard to use normal headset) , oculus software , little more expensive , lcd screen (less good colors)

with hard to use a headset means the band (the halo strap) it rather large, so its hard to find a headset (for sound) to put it over the rift s halo. (i have 3 headsets, and none of them fit over it)

software wise its not the best, it's decent like they improved allot and it runs any vive game since its a copycat of the vive wands
but i can understand why sim racers, or people that want a good screen for low price and don't care about the controlelrs

While you will enjoy the high quality sound (people were saying it crackles after sometime though so one needs to be wary of that) and vibrant colors on the display with a comfortable head strap, it's still, again, a bloody WMR. So the tracking will be the bane of its existence. Then, now and forever.

You won't get the full experience with leg tracking but no biggy. Make sure your Vive tracker is updated! Also, power on your controllers first, then power on your single tracker
I believe if you dont do that there are syncing issues

I turn trackers first or 2 and then controllers then 3rd one
Just make sure you have them set up in steamvr as left right and weist and they will always be in there order

Safe mode switching to Max Security rather than screwing your custom settings, worlds telling you they're full rather than silently dumping you in a new lobby, the friends menu actually refreshing properly, notifications for when people go online/offline, invisible mode, being able to preload worlds, being able to go "back" rather than just home, the ability to block avatars rather than specific people, not being turned into a robot when VRC randomly decides not to load, prioritised loading for your own avatar, prioritised loading for the avatars closest to you first, etc, etc. And that's just off the top of my head which, given how bad my memory is, means it's a tiny fraction of the things that bothered me lately.

I've spoiled myself by playing Neos a bit lately and oh my god, it does so much stuff that VRChat should do but just doesn't.
You can join rooms in like 3 seconds, regardless of how big the world is due to how it loads things in. And once you're in a room, you can jump between any room you've been in that session instantly. I can see how big worlds are before I go to them. I can see my friends menu if he needs to do something. You have an inventory, etc, etc. So yeah, don't play Neos as it'll make all the missing stuff in VRC even more irritating.

Yeah, that's an area that definitely needs work. There's an experimental Unity importer but we'll see if that's ever of any use. Does allow for a lot more fine-tuning though being able to place and move the objects from within VR itself.

You can see the model ready and textured in Blender, you shouldn't need to keep going back to Blender unless you're doing actual revisions.
