I don't know 100% how it works as far as organization, but from what I can tell he'll have a few different people as hosts, talkative and outgoing people I'd assume, and they help him in the initial lobby kinda keep the flow of things going
mostly just to help new people and whatnot
then when that lobby fills, he'll find a group that's talking and asks them to go to a new world with him, drops another instance of the world, then leaves with that group so the "seeds" of another event can start
but i think he filled like....3 20-something man lobbies this weekend lol
so I'd follow through because I do better with smaller groups in a situation like that and eventually left to go chill with some other friends, then noticed some other friends were in an oldy lobby that died down a bit and went to meet them and their friends and we just had fun

This question is meant to be mostly for quest, but can concern all VR headset's and headset users. What is the longest you can actually go using a VR headset? and how much should I be worried about VR Headsets overheating?
I remember hearing a story about the guy on youtube who lived in VR for a week. But one notable thing is that he switched between two different headsets back and forth. My Oculus Quest has a battery life of 2-3 hours, but of course I can set that thing on a charger and keep charging it indefinitely.
That however does not stop the headset from getting hot, and sometimes charging can make the headset even hotter (If it is to hot it just won't charge though for user safety). I don't actually mind the heat that much from a comfort standpoint, but I do worry about the safety of my headset. So how hot is too hot and can you foreseeably get your headset so hot from overuse that it becomes damaged? How long does it take to get to that point?
Please ping me if you have an answer (otherwise I may miss it)

@brisk shadow There's an option in SteamVR settings for sleep times for the the headset and controllers.
@vagrant saffron Most headsets can run forever, e.g. the Index, Vive, etc. I know the Index controllers can be charged while you're using them and they charge quite quickly too so you could disconnect them after they've charged and get another 7 hours out of them. I've found the Quest often discharges faster than it charges, so be aware it may not be possible to run it indefinitely.
