@vocal shard I used to do that alot, It doesnt affect you at all. Like as long as you have minimal 3 hours sleep then you are gucci hun. Thats what I read anyway as that is all your body needs, The rest of the hours you have is for memories to be stored on your brain and stuff

@inland minnow Actually not how it works... Everyone needs a different amount of sleep to function properly ranging from 6 to 9 hours.
If your over tired from not sleeping enough your brain will function less well an process things worse. So driving a car can be deathly...
There are some realllly special people who can properly handle those 3 hours but thats an edge case..

I used to plug a keyboard into my old laptop all the time, because the laptop keyboard was crappy and couldn't register certain keys when pressed simultaneously.

Ghosting is such a weird issue and I'm not sure how/why it's still even a thing. I had an expensive, illuminated Logitech keyboard that didn't register a lot of simultaneous combinations, many of which were pretty standard. When I contacted Logitech about it, they claimed it's because it wasn't a "gaming keyboard" despite all other keyboards I'd ever tried, no matter how cheap or "not-gaming" they were, worked. Put me off them entirely.

I mean, to a degree it can't really be disputed that a persons choice of avatar reflects their personality and interests to a degree.
You can make minor assumptions on someone who picks a Halo Spartan as their primary avatar, vs someone who picks a Nanachi, vs someone who picks a skimpy curvy MMD.
But it's a mistake to judge anyone entirely on that alone.

Their signature unique trait at the time was that she was the one who figured out how to have dy-bone tails trail behind you correctly and rest in place, rather than always trying to curl back to their original mesh shape.

At the time everyone else making nagas or similar, was just using regular dy-bone settings which resulted in nagas becoming crazy wobbly spaghetti monsters when they moved. Like a rubber spring.

But yeah, just the lack of scaled creatures in general (no, I don't count badly rigged, oversized "monsters" imported from games in that list either) given the amount of furries or nanachi / avali characters.

Apparently the key to that "persistent" movement is to simply set everything in dynamic bones to zero except for dampening. I had something similar but clearly I messed up somewhere

Yeah, it's remarkably simple when you know it. Gearbell messed around with far more complex failed attempts for a week before finding the solution. ^ ^;

Nope, you do it with shape keys in Blender.

Basis has the eyes open, then you make 2 shape keys, one with one eye closed and the other with the other eye closed.

It then tweens between them for the blinking animation.

Can be fun setting other things as the blink blendshapes occasionally. You can technically set one to control both eyes, and then have the other use a different blendshape that works in snyc.

I once made a cat avatar that had no automatic blinking, and instead had an automatic nose twitch, plus "ear tracking" instead of eye tracking.

Can also use the lower eyelid shape to accomplish weird things that react to whether the viewer is above or below you.
