Easy fix. Go into your Safety settings, set it to "Custom", disable everything for all ranks except "Voice", "Avatar" and "Shaders"

#

If you struggle with performance and want to get those extra frames you can disable Shaders as well but avatars may render incorrectly when doing so. Keep Custom Animations off so no one can spawn in stuff that blocks your view.

I've got a Quest and I have to admit, VRChat on Quest is a super depressing experience. I'd never recommend it to anyone, although it does actually work surprisingly well for streaming.

the quest allows her to feel like she's able to leave the house, and it's very convenient. It's a really good headset and incredibly affordable. Has some wonderful apps. If you have a pc already, so get a pc headset. Everything BUT vrchat is great on it, and vrchat is STILL pretty great on it

I'm not suggesting you do, on pc, those fingers can be subdivided if you want. All I'm saying is that having a quest compatible version of your model isn't as hard as you think. All the models I use and maps I upload are the same for both now out of principal. To make a model excellent on pc doesn't take much. Tupper's model is "good" ranked. There's really no reason for something to be "poor" honestly, and 10k poly is a pretty high setup if done right. @snow wadi you may want to look into re-topology.

The 1800x isn't that great. I just switched to a 3700x and saw a big improvement

It's completely up to the devs, they can setup the CPU usage and confirm stability after changes. The game could use alot of juice if they wanted it to but they always need to consider players who are trying to run VRC on a potato PC.

I'm actually surprised with a small team like that, they managed to get it running on quite a number of different systems.
