That's two things SL could handle a bit better. Because every single thing was an "asset" then it could drop you in worlds while they were still loading. It also meant that if any two assets are ever shared anywhere by anything (be it a world, avatar or both) they'd just load from the same asset cache to avoid duplication. It also deduplicated all content that ever uploaded, so if people uploaded the same textures, they were (on the backend) actually the same texture and again would share the cache.

Compared to SL, in VRC everything is a "pack" and has to be redownloaded from scratch each time. Update a piece of grass in a world? Everyone has to download the entire world again, rather than just what's changed.

If stuff like that happens while I'm on desktop, it's easy. I just open the Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + ESC) and close VRC. If it happens in VR, I'd first have to figure out how I'm going to open the Task Manager and then hope I can somehow actually use it to close VRC.

Also one thing that can flag you for ban evasion is someone else logging into your account that is/was banned, or someone who logged into someone's account who was/is banned, etc. daisy chaining

If he's mic spamming you can just mute everyone one by one until it stops. If it's shader spamming you can turn off the shaders for each rank one by one until it stops. That might help ya figure out who's doing that
