Nah, the trap room has just about anything beat if you fail the puzzle all 4 times on any difficulty except easy. I mean, fighting 4 red Giants and nagas at the same time, all level 70 plus with the ability to three hit you each at Max hp (9999) with the Giants having a black hole move to draw you in? With no space to run too? That is an utter bitch

Oh wait, the imperial capital dungeon was a pain and a half first time through. Took me 3 and a half hours to clear it to get to the final cutscene where you get absorbed by the crystal.

You can clean cache by deleting everything within C:\Users\%Username%\AppData\LocalLow\VRChat\vrchat apart from output_log.txt and config.json if you have them

In case you haven't heard yet the Virtual Desktop App on Quest will allow you to play SteamVR games including VRchat on your Quest. No sideloading is necessary but you do have to buy Virtual Desktop for your Quest...but it's really a must have app anyway.

It works well and the Dev said a fix for the controllers is coming next week, but it is playable even now.

This allows you to play as a PC player with camera and the works while at home. It's a very nice option if you have a VR capable PC.

I have met some nice people in Quest worlds and it is nice to have it more chill. No doubt that experience will be improving, but there is no reason a person with a VR capable PC shouldn't have access to PC content when their headset is capable of delivering it.

Sometimes I don't want chill. I want steel and Gold and the Volt with everything on and an animation by which I lag my own self. There are many ways to enjoy VRchat and most of those ways require a PC, but good conversation may actually be best on a Quest for the same reason.

RIght, but in that case the Virtual Desktop App is still very handy because it will stream the desktop of that i3-4th Gen for other uses.

That's why I bought a Quest. I have an AMD-A8 powered laptop I use for school. With the Quest I can use it to have a virtual desktop with clear text that the laptop itself could never run.

If I only had a Quest and no PC it would be a long time before I was stressing over getting a PC just for VR. The Quest is impressive.

Most games on Quest are as enjoyable to play and as fully featured as their PC originals. With VRchat that just wasn't possible. Obviously there are some reduced graphics and features, but for the most part they are not even noticeable. At least not in Beat Saber or Robo Recall. Virtual Desktop certainly doesn't suggest it's a weak app, and I have tried an alpha for Tribe XR that is on par graphically and performance wise with the PC counterpart. If someone doesn't have a PC or their PC is weak A Quest is definitely their best option. If they can buy a PC why hadn't they already?

That’s not necessary. Just make your logo properly on another part of the texture and then move that island over top of where your logo is

Rotated and scale the uv island so that it is a square is over the logo

#

You can move moving or tris around on the UV just like regular blender it’s just basically like a 2-D version of blender

Moving them around and sizing them causes the texture to slide and morph on the model

Why is it that the game consistantly refuses to load world. Ive tried restarting game, ive cleared cache, ive sat for about an hour seeing what it would do and it just refuses to load. It used to never do this crap

he was given a ban that was, according to the ban message, due to his videos and streams, which he removed some of but not all of. If i remember right it was 40-something videos he took down of the event since he thought that was the problem but likely still has ot her videos on his channel that could be bad

In the case of subtleties while under direct control from the user, that's likely network smoothing or something.
Otherwise it's more the fact the user has 100% control of their hand at all times. Even when enabling overrides that alter hand pose, the controller-detected pose takes priority.

They did fix a fair about of memory leaks but from what people reported its not all gone
But unless they get some higher end reports made about it they cant solve it.

Also- Some avatars/shaders/materials what-ever-you-want also eat up memory so optimizing avatars should also help so far i know

Well running on a literall potato will mean you cant even run the game 'normally' so you also cant judge if its a bug.

If vrchat is taking a long time to load it could be the disk read speed, since the data from your installation drive has to be loaded into memory first.

I'd say the stream viewers vs active player count is just down to the relatively small number of VR owners so far.
Obviously you can play desktop, but the gap in the experience of playing that way vs watching is smaller.

VR-Chat two main attractions are either chilling and socialising with friends, or the entertainment value certain players bring. But the entertainers are far easier easier to find on streams, and the chilling with friends aspect is far more compelling in VR.

I just wanna say since I consider myself a frequent target of crashing/ddosing from script kiddies renting botnets, and in case any one of those script kiddies sees this, you're really not getting any advantage and you're not deterring me from the game. Getting crashed/ DDoSed is a minor inconvenience for me and the real loser is definitely not me, but you. I record all of my sessions. If you're anywhere near me or in my sight and you mess with me you should know it's already too late for you. Keep "avenging" your so called friends, you'll only get a pyrrhic victory at best, if at all. I love this game and the community and I swear to heart I will do my best to protect it from you.

I've been using VRChat since the end of 2016 and VR about the same amount of time, and in my experience 20 minutes of VR time (doesn't have to be VRC) has been better at managing my depression than anything else so far.

You find some great people on VRChat to talk to. It’s anonymous so you can say everything on your mind. I’m sure it’s helped plenty of people overcome depression and anxiety

I'd like to counter that with anectodal experiences. I've had multiple cases in both vrchat and other social VR where just from social interaction I've had a lasting* improvement to my mood and overall wellbeing that I can't attribute to anything else.
