so my understanding of the situation is as follows: there was something wrong with the client that causes you to spam requests. Cloudflare sees this and thinks you're DDOSing. Cloudflare blacklists you. You get a captcha to open any site that uses Cloudflare, now. Games don't have captcha though, so games that use cloudflare will just reject you. VRchat uses Cloudflare, so you're unable to log into VRchat until the issue is resolved.

The suspected reason at the moment is that cloudflare is detecting some incorrect data being sent by users as some form of attack and is trying to verify the users, which VRChat is not meant to handle and things are getting weird.

@rancid vessel yes because vrchat's fuck up has caused yours, mine and lots of other's IP addresses to be flagged as hostile by Cloudflare. Any site that uses cloudflare for protection will require you to complete a captcha

It's not a ban, more of a blacklist of your IP by CloudFlare due to VRChat Websockets acting up and spamming some data which the former mistook as an attack
