To be fair the nature of Bedroom Theatre being a small map means its not exactly conducive for a large gathering or for public instances. Its not a map you can find public instances of to go and meet people, its mostly used for small groups of friends to watch stuff together.

I wouldn't rule out the possibility of moltenvk and vkd3d support improving to the point where the windows version runs flawlessly on mac. Valve has invested resources into this dream of linux emulation and the pieces are there for mac support if someone cares to do it

If you had a new macbook and enough for an external gpu, there would be the option of using a virtual machine with gpu passthrough. There is a free windows license for virtual machine use (you have to reinstall once a month, not bad)

If you only have one and that is occupied bythe monitor you will need to find a fitting adapter to use for your monitor (you want the oculus to use the hative HDMI port)

@stoic halo The new GPU drivers for Nvidia has actually had critical problems. It affected my PC, as the latest one for the GTX 1080 TI actually freezes windows and stops you from playing games. I recommend reversing if you have problems with the latest drivers.
