For as many times as I have muted my mic by mistake and not noticed, I don't always want people noticing when I muted myself to cough or maybe I'm too nervous to talk and would rather be able to talk to myself in peace. Some people don't speak ever and would now be marked with an icon indicating that when they can otherwise communicate perfectly well through other means.

I just can't see a status being good, afk and actually a lifeless AFK pole is one thing people can easily ignore and be mindless goldfish about as someone said. Being a char still wandering about and people watching with a noticeable "I'm mute" icon just tells me there'd be people who'd enjoy fking with someone like that is my only point, the emoji at least allows the option to tell someone specifically and allows the user to be at their leisure. I'd rather not turn on a status to show someone, then back off to go back to being on my merry way being quiet lol.

the gesture checker can see my hands and registers my gestures
i can use trigger, grip, menu button
but when i enter steam vr none of that happens.

Short answer is no as you dont have enough ram
A 3gb 1060 is barely enough to run anything VR
8gb ram is also barely enough and that cpu is also scraping it

Save up more- Upgrade your pc first and think about Vr a fair bit later

Not really fair to say they upped the tris to 70k because everyone was bypassing the limit. More favorite slots and more tris were the two most frequently requested features.

Imagine accidentally clicking a Knuckles avatar and just knowing your death was imminent. The slow transformation as the suit jolted you entire body into itself, deforming unnaturally as your bones were pushed inside of your body and your face being stretched open as you cried for help

But that's just one possible outcome of course. Sounds neat.
