My inspiration to learn and do free commissions was when i wanted a certain model and the guy charged me $20 for it. When I finally got the model, it was poorly rigged, the dynamic bones were terrible, and textures were off.

@languid beacon if you bought the shader, use the shader.

If people try and cause drama over it tell them they can block your shaders, or they can just you know, learn what they're talking about first.

Don't let other people dictate what you're doing in that sense, especially if it's something that's actually optimized for the platform it's on, otherwise you wasted 10 bucks, and I really really don't want anyone to feel like they wasted money on my products.

Probably. My laptop isn't comparable to a desktop but it's a pretty powerful machine. I've been running VR on it for 2 years, since before the concept of "VR ready" laptops existed publically.

I'd check the ocoulus forums to see if anyone has had this issue within the last update time. They sometimes will release a patch for those affected.

Otherwise a clean re-install might be a good option.

Make sure to always collapse the pipeline manager component. Avatar/scene descriptors are fine, but if pipeline manager is expanded, unity will lag and hang, with an intensity of however many blueprints are tied to your account. >_>

@spice lodge If you upgrade your Oculus account into a full VRChat account, it becomes platform independent and your avatars and friends carry interchangeably between Steam, Oculus Home, and any platform they use in the future.
