Actually there's a way to recover it depending or not on how your disk deletes data so you can recover it but for a hefty price with one program.. as its the only real method in the world to recovering all deleted data.. other programs find the data but often cannot recover it. The program is called EaseUS data recovery, it works but like i said its not cheap.

You can also use Windows to recover deleted data if you turn on windows 10 "File history" it acts like system restore but allows you to recover from any source folder you desire instead of affecting the OS itself.

@hollow sluice I had this issue before and it turned out to be my headset itself. Unplug the cable from the headset and re-plug it in. That seemed to fix it for me.

@winter bolt rough 30-50 hours of play time although I've seen it gotten quicker, just go browse some avatar worlds in the meantime

And cloning also allows malicious and/or unoptimized stuff to spread

Never personally experienced going to an avatar world to get an avatar for use since I entered VRC with an avatar in mind and made already... (it has evolved quite a bit but is still technically still the same blend file)
I did go to avatar worlds to get fun avatars for the memes and all that.
