ok so i know about the how authentication error issues but ever since this started ive also been having trouble with 95% of my models, as in i can literally only switch to 2 out of 83 on my account as it crashes me when loading the preview but also am un able to change model once ive managed to end up switching to that model to even any public model without crashing too, it is only my personal models and i get stuck on it as when i try to change i crash.
After asking around ingame ive not heard anyone else say they have this issue but is this known to anyone else here/experiencing it?

time will tell things take long time to recover and stable.. i mean come on.. one virtual world i still play on been around since 2002. i been there for over 12 years.. about 6 years of my life was nothing but unstable servers and bugs. now it runs really ok. still has its moments but everything cant be perfect , if vrchat holds out it should improve in years.. as much as i want to get peoples hope up for a sooner fix but just way things are

its called secondlife.. but its dedicated to a more different desktop only experience not like what vrchat has to offer and think lag is bad.. that place is insane its opengl based and renders everything and changes on the fly, with my gpu and stuff and with settings i get about 8 to 40fps depending the areas heh

A unity project is a game in itself. You can fill it with C# scripts which execute when you press play (and even before then, I believe)
And if you work with Blender projects, you can have python scripts be in that..
Finally, he could probably just add a javascript and convince people to run it... Most people don't know these things

yeah. this one just for online games anyway i have 3 2tb's in here one for offline only games with an 8gig ssd side to it as its a hybrid then one for my music and images documents then that one for online stuff. my ssd's are 5 years old but still 100% health that soon to be 9 year old one has 50k hours with no sector issues to be seen so far

the cache will constantly read and write and drain away on the lifetime of your ssd significantly. Just move it to an HDD, its the best of both worlds, the speeds are perfectly fine for vrchat.

Theres a big speed improvement when putting your OS on an SSD, not so much in games like vrchat that are mostly limited by your network speed.

i have one ssd just dedicated to fallout 4 cause i mod it so much that it nearly has trouble booting reasonably fast from that alone. i have one just for documents and default stuff from windows so when i do reinstall windows i dont have to worry about backing up the stuff as its all ready fine there

My internet is faster than my HHD though, sai, and most of the time, worlds are already cached and you will be reading it from your cache.
Even if it's a new world, you will have to write it to disk, which probably increases load time

@dawn pecan If you keep going to the same worlds obviously they are cached, but they are usually between 150-250 mb and the performance difference in loading those from an hdd or ssd within the game is minimal.

usually its not the writing thats the noticeable difference :p
but if its holding a big cache and continuously loads stuff from it then definitely gonna be a diff

the cpu usually has its own plug for power delivery. Top left of mobo
