Yeah sometimes I have that issue whenever I open up steamVR overlay sometimes it caps my FPS to 12 and the only way to fix it is to restart SteamVR or turn supersampling to 0.9

@silk axle My suggestion is to have an 'exit procedure' for vrchat after using trackers.
For me it's HMD off, put on floor where it's safe. Trackers off and plugged in to chargers, controllers plugged in to charge too, link box turned off.
It does help if you pick up a few of those wall socket multi-USB chargers and make yourself a little 'charging station' for your VR stuff.

That way when you hop in the next time everything is all nice and ready for a quick easy setup.

Yeah its usually what i do, literally have an extension block for VR stuff now 😮 I recently bought the leg trackers and I am used to a "white" LED on the controllers as a notation that is charged, so it just confused me a tad, but I'll just assume an hour and they're done from now on 😛

Microsoft also immediately released directions to restore your data from the early october update. It didn't affect many users at all.

Fuck's wrong with some servers right now? I'm using a voice changer as I am too nervous to use my real voice, so I thought playing as venom would be cool, and it has given me some friends, but right now the servers I joined were so damn toxic, I joined a night beach or what ever it's called, and the first thing I hear is "I'm blocking this nerd he's using fucking venom" and before there was a group of people just being douchebags on a Great Pug server, they came up to me, started calling me spiderman, which is fine I can take a joke, but then I used a roar sound effect and then they started, something about autism, which I have anyway, there was like 5 of them, jesus christ. I might only have to play this game at night, because I'm in Australia, so when it's day for me, it's night for the majority of people I talk to. I know, I should've either reported or block them, butthe report I wasn't gonna do as that calls a dev or admin over, so I'll only do that if there is a hacker, and blocking will keep them away from me, but other people may join in. @near sky use I am a VR user but I'm on a 1060 so I'm usually GPU limited. I rarely see myself limited by my CPU. Usually in high player worlds or just shitty worlds.

@vocal shard I like high IPC count cause of garrys mod. It was single threaded for the longest time, so he added dual thread support but you needed a launch option. Oh my lord, my framerate went from 20 fps with 20% load on my GPU to over 100 with 60% load.

I would like to upgrade, but it's not currently in my budget. I also don't want to spend 2k just to build it again in the same timeframe. I would like to build some beast that costs 4-5k and lasts me awhile

I'm probably going to get a 2700k if my mobo supports it and get a h100i and overclock it to 5ghz if possible.

@rough flax I see ^^ -and which headset are you using? With Oculus at the time image-based tracking proved to push the CPU more than ideal. Worked, but at the time jitter was such a larger issue, and it worsened that situation.

Make sure that your blink shapekeys are all present and accounted for when you import the model into Unity.

Yes. Shapekeys get deleted during the export process if they do absolutely nothing. Make sure they do something, even if it's shifting a vertex a tiny bit.

also you have to do the process in order, otherwise slots are wrong

for some reason VRC's eye tracking uses blend shape slot indexes instead of like.. names.
