I had no idea that the game used the AvatarTPoseController to determine bend targets

A little extra note on the previous topic...
There's no need to guess at names when making a report. If you have even just a few letters of their nametag, you can just use the search function in your logs to find their full exact name.
Copy paste it right out of there onto the email. Trying to report someone without an accurate name is unlikely to help much.
Also, I'll just keep mentioning this since it's an easy mistake... but don't accidentally send the old logs from the previous location. Just delete those to be sure you never mix them up, and they won't appear again.

you arent supposed to change the sdk, they just "tolerate" it
they won't actively hint you for it but if they clearly see that you have an model with overexaggerated polys then you gonna get beaned

I almost forgot to mention this also happens on two totally different systems because I tried with my laptop and the same thing happened -_-
If it does the same thing on two different computers, I guess it could be: 1. Network related 2. Account related 3. File problems if they were copied straight from Computer A to Computer B

If you have a Nvidia card, right click the desktop, Nvidia control panel, change resolution, and make sure you have selected "PC 1920x1080" (you have to scroll down the list) and make sure refresh rate is set to 144hz

Desktop users now have a reticle in the middle of the screen to help show what they're pointing at. This reticle can be toggled off in the System menu, and will hide when you press Ctrl-H to hide the other UI elements

19k? It might look okay, but making amazing models is very difficult at that limit
If you really want the extra detail you can create a retopo mesh with normal maps. But I dont really think there are alot of people on here who know how to do that.
the point is, i had a 5k model, and stuffed a total of 200k poly models into it. The loading time increased.
Heck, even a good shader that takes advantage of your diffuse/spec/normals and any other added bits if the model has it can really bring out it's potential even if low poly.

Top-quality Skyrim models are great, and I refuse to believe you can recreate them without going way past 20k polies

You have to imagine all the other people who have to take up polygon space too. One person at 20k is fine, you start getting other people with the same ammount with more materials, performance starts to overload.

My world has 1.5M verts, it runs so fast that it breaks my FPS counter and goes to 110 on Desktop

They might not have known the things we know today, such as the impact of materials and dynamic bone
and most people didn't have a ton of effects

i don't use cube shader anymore i found a better shader for me

So I got to the part which has three large gates with the fountain, the one on the right leads to an infinite cylinder loop, and I went around it 5 whole times, instantly knew it was a loop when I found the torch and weapon that someone dropped when they died, but no matter how many times I went around it, nothing different happened..

Least my most commonly used avatar atm is 4.5k tris but bumped up to 19.9k ish due to subdeviding hands and face for visemes.
However i think it just might be a different issue
If you have over 10k it will tell you that it's bad
But won't prevent uploading before you're above 19999

Seeing from my experiences in the past, the larger models just give me long load times for models.
since i've seen people with 200k cars, 80k models, ect.
20k poly counts are bad
Alot of avatars (even with decimation) would look horrible at that limit
There is to many factors to try and get everything down to that level
Some may look fine but others will be destroyed
Decimation should not be used at all really
Also that issue is more so from uncompressed audio and textures
It does get worse after 65k, but that's only because Unity is dumb and splits the mesh above that

I'd like to see 50k as the max but a lot of other factors have to be refined first.

Moden 360 and PS3 games runw it modles over 100k each
A modern Xbox in and ps4 run closer to 400k-1m

my only issue with larger polycount leads to larger avatars to load. Few months back all i did was lag out of worlds with 10 people in them and they barely loaded to half lol.
Been better now but not by much.
If you really Wana optimise your modles keep your amount of dynamic bones scripts low (as little as possible)
As said before poly count does not contribute to file size
If they took along time to do they had big audio files or textures
if you compress your texures your moddel loads quicker

And then unity compression of asset files
Would bring the total do size to 6mb

if you're talking about idle animations, I think that's because they are being blended with crouch idle and prone idle animations

whenever you visit a world you have before already, it shows data downloading. Does this mean you keep downloading the world to your vrchat folder?
yeah to your cache folder
cause you can't set the cache size, so it deletes stuff randomly and you have to redownload it over and over

Stealing avatars got much harder, and I don't think you can even steal avatars remotely anymore
Crashers are still a thing, but you should use the particle limiter that they provided you with if you care so much
love the new daily blue screen feature. That wasn't happening at all for a while
only takes one particle to crash you. That was very clearly demonstrated when the limiter first came out
one reason they took it back off
Lag has gotten better, mirrors were improved and they were one of the worst offenders. Opening the menu lags at the moment though, but it's not permanent
