Join Me (blue) - Auto-accepts any invite requests - Why not just go into a friends only or friends of guest instance or you know... accept the request?
Active (green) - Any invite requests will have to be manually accepted (this is the previous behavior) besides letting people know you're active, pointless
Busy (dark red) - Hides all notifications However you can just turn off the HUD and ignore the requests.
And the big red "Offline" over someone's picture with a grey dot. Pick one or the other.

I don't know why both Rift and Vive went with the design they did, of placing nearly all the weight on the lower face. The forehead resting design of the PSVR seems much more sensible. Although I've never spent long wearing one of those, so maybe I'm missing something.

I'd probably recommend to hold off on buying the extra trackers, a least until having the basic setup. Can always get them later if you still want them.
Because their value will depend on how much freedom your playspace gives you.
Eg, if you can walk around, kick safely, or lounge on the floor, that's a selling point for them. If you've not got room to do much more than side step or sit, then there's less point having them.

One sly thing that most people don't realise about laptop versions of i5s, is that they're actually only dual core, unlike their full desktop equivalents which are quad core. It's kind of a sneaky trick for intel to pull on people.

Being allowed to upload is based on reaching a certain trust score which's exact algorithm is unknown to prevent exploitation.
You presumably need to play the game in a normal manner, walking around, meeting people and also makeing some friends. Idling wont help.
According to many responses in this discord the typical time it takes seems to be between 20-40 hours but big exceptions are possible.
Make sure you are not logged in to your steam account by accident and play the game until you get a notification or e-mail.

So apparently a friend of mine just reported a Hacked Client who is crashing people. (Possibly a GPU crasher as one person's PC overheated and crashed) She sent the following message: "hey guys just got on VR Chat, beware. Seriously stay out of the presentation room her name is in red called Lilly leave right away she's a hacked client she just crashed me and tried to hack my friend's account." That was all she could get before crashing, apparently the friend's computer has shut down three times now from it. She can't email it since there's no proof so I'm adverting it here to warn people as well as so Moderators can see this and look into it.
