Becoming verified by the trust system is based on reaching a certain trust score, which's exact algorithm is unknown to prevent exploitation.

You presumably need to play the game in a normal manner with your VRChat account, walking around, meeting people and also making some friends. Idling won't help.
According to many responses in this discord the typical time this takes seems to roughly be between 20-40 hours but big exceptions are possible.

Make sure you are not using a steam account by accident because those can not be verified and continue playing the game until you get a notification or e-mail.

Its based on in-game behavior as far as i can tell. So if multiple blocked you or reported you or you did something wrong or if you used hacks or something. Then your ability to upload stuff can be taken away.

And you have to be playing on your VRChat account, not steam account of course.

There is literally a program that will extract the .vrca asset files linked in our logs. The only useable things I know of it extracts are the textures and mesh. Shaders and animations dont work.

That alone is enough to piss me off.

Considering all my models have customized meshes and textures.

Time varies from person to person, there isn't a set time on how long you need to get the permission to upload user contents.

Make sure you are using your VRChat account and that you are actually interacting with other players and such, not just AFKing in a corner waiting for time to pass.

Rift does support 4. The 4th gives a bit larger space, more accurate tracking, and less chance of occlusion. But 3 works really well

Personally I find people tolerate bad mics decently, however do make sure you're using headphones so the game audio doesn't echo back. That'll get you figuratively beaten down fast

I use push to talk on basically everything?
But my computer headset has a button on it so i can disable the mic quickly too.
But since all the usb ports are gonna be full i might need another mic that can go into the earphone jack thingy

The other is being used by my headset.

how do I reset my controls? I don't know how to remove a binding entirely and I messed up while trying to rebind my jump key since my spacebar is messed up but I messed up the controls pretty bad, and I don't see any way to revert them.

I want some Vive owners opinions. I have a Rift, and I really wish i would've waited a little longer to get a vive. It has the fully body tracking you can buy and goes straight through SteamVR and into Oculus Home. (Minor issue, I know.) What are the benefits and disadvantages of a vive?

vive has worse lenses, the internal mic is way worse then the rift's (especially in cancellation) and its heavier.
the wand controlers are not very great and you need to charge them so if the battery runs out during playtime, game over.
This vive also lacks a default audio system, ofc additionally buyable.
Also no rift exculusives, but that is agiven obviously.

pros are if you want FBT (dont forgett that is rather useless anywhere outside DEV and VRChat) and if you want to use a big playspace

I have small space on my C drive so for VR chat's cache I ended up making a symbolic link for the directory to a different much bigger drive. if you're technical enough the instructions are easy to google. I kinda thought about doing that for the entire app data folder as companies these days don't respect the temporary nature its suppose to have

So wen will there be the fix about wen u block or mute someone then leaves before 2 min to another world or exit vrchat the person will still be blocked and muted even wen already un muted and unblocked them so always wen u change world u have to unmute and unblock again
