Uninstalled and reinstalled VRChat, nothing. Reset the audio defaults to see if that would work, nada. Checked all the connections on Vive, the box, and on the pc, all snug. Has anyone had this b4? Here's some crucial background: answered a voice call on Discord today for the first time ever, and had to change the mic setting on here so they could hear me. When this issue happened (entering vrchat for the first time since that) then it didn't work. Went back into discord and reset the audio defaults, no change. I'd love some help if anyone has had this issue.

As for your other question, there are multiple ways in which VRChat prevents people from uploading just about anything
First of all, the client has its own whitelist for avatars. All components not on the whitelist are immediately removed on load.

Even if you somehow bypassed this, it would still be impossible to put scripts on avatars. Scripts are precompiled and come with the game. You're not actually uploading a script, you're uploading a reference to the script.
You're not actually uploading dynamic bone, you're just uploading settings that the game will use itself. The game itself has dynamic bone installed.
So even if you modified dynamic bone, it would do nothing even though it's on the whitelist

You can move just about anything, even scale, rotate or move stuff without moving the rest of the material.
The only thing I would not recommend is moving any UV's without also moving the linked vertices.
