Usually it's just a compile error. Clear cache and playerprefs is the only button that doesn't have its own editor script AFAIK

The only parameters you can get are your forward/backward movement speed, sideways movement, and whether you are currently falling.

No access to gestures or emotes either.

Speaking of which, I think the emote system will be the largest reason why we don't have our own animators yet.

Since that's one part of the animator very closely linked to the game logic (the UI reads out which emotes you have etc)
