I can account for this being a big one on ram usage, could help out more than people think.

Might also make a post suggesting some other things such as allowing world creators to put reverb in thier worlds on the voices in the room for better spacialization so people can pick out people in the room better. Altspace has a very similar function and ive noticed it helps when trying to talk to people in the room when there are multiple convos going on at once.

Biggest thing would be to try reinstalling the game.
Try a new port for your microphone.
Check to see if the mic does it in any other applications.
Check and see if your pc is automatically setting your mic to another in the pc settings.
Make sure your mic is selected on Vrchat. If it is, try switching to another than back to yours.

Yes.. UI should be a priority really.. even still i did see a limiter.. although seeing as 20k poly was limit enforced globally i would of assumed it would be just as easy to apply this to the whole on particle count to begin with.

It's possible to make an online avatar store with coorporation with VRChat. To prevent theft, the user could get a special token on the name plate when the online store has verified that purchase and told VRChat (maybe through API or something?)
This is not the right channel for it, but I'm too tired to value my ideas much right now. Didn't want it to go to a waste either though

If you can sell models reliably without worrying about theifs, then you would likely get many sales. This would make it worthwhile for pros to sell cheap high-quality models

Kind of like commisions, but with a larger aaudience and coorporation with VRChat to ensure that the avatars aren't stolen (Anyone with the custom models but no name tag for it would be banned)

The thing is though-- VRC just has to enforce copyright laws once they become aware of it
Once they get a notice they have to take action but before that they just need to minimize the copyright infringement (What is hard to do). So they just force you to 'legally' sign the avatar your using is fine and all G

So if avatar owners want to take action- Its against the user ripping the model- Not using it right (aka editing it) or selling it

they did say when they announced it they said they are using udon instead of a playmaker as a basis as part of the sdk so they can add on instead of an external one like playmaker
