manually check for driver updates- Check windows updates- Turn off virus scanner and tehn try going- Swap the Ipv6 server your on

google what DNS stuff means (together with ipv4 and ipv6) and learn throwing it to google's or couldfares instead of your IPS is always a smarter idea

you can watermark them though, real watermark embedded in your geometry (vertex position etc). if the geometry is not altered it's efficient if you have an IP claim. There is also encryption methods but not mature yet.

Those avatars technically have fingers. I just add three (thumb, index, middlefinger) bones off the handbone and don't weight any mesh to them

Being allowed to upload is based on reaching a certain trust score which's exact algorithm is unknown to prevent exploitation.

You presumably need to play the game in a normal manner, walking around, meeting people and also makeing some friends. Idling wont help.
According to many responses in this discord the typical time it takes seems to be between 20-40 hours but big exceptions are possible.

Make sure you are not logged in to your steam account by accident and play the game until you get a notification or e-mail.

From a developer stand point. When you create a account it assigns you a user Id # let’s call this your steam ID. When you log into the website instead of it generating a new user Id # you should be able to look up and link your unique user #

Plan and simple. There should be a way to merge your steam Id in the VRchat account. “One time deal” then when they are merged you still need to met the requirements to upload. But if your steam account already has x amount of hours it’s already unlocked.

Obviously VRchat wants/needs to make money to for one keep the servers online. Right now they got investors, but eventually some kind of ingame purchases probably will be there. Seriously doubt they'll ever charge for core features, like uploading avatars.
