Because of the single core usage within VRC the cpu almost always gets botteled before the gpu what makes the gpu a fair bit less important

What I meant by the app this g is not full fledged vr chat on mobile I mean like a social app that lists your friend, who's online, invites, forums, world telepota for before you get in VR, possible messaging feature with ingame friends.

Both kinects (v1 xbox 360, and v2 xbox one) use regular-ish USB wiring with proprietary plugs/sockets.

Both have stupid plugs (thanks microsoft), but the v1 requires either the adapter, or slicing the plug off and soldering a regular USB plug & power supply to it.

I feel like the one pii is talking about is an issue in the pug itself, your view is teleported to somewhere in the pug, its not a camera exploit and you legit cant do anything. Usually with the camera shader you can just safe mode and you're fine but what they are talking about is something you cant fix by any means other than restarting the game

The teleport one is a bug that got added in one of the patches, where it will randomly teleport the master client of the instance

The camera is a whole other issue, that we can't discuss to much here, but requires the instance to die out, which is why I said you need to get the instance id and report it to the mods. So they can force close it as there is always one person left in it.

The criteria has not been released but most people are saying between 24-40hours in game of actual participation

@fervent pollen u can use the Vive trackers with the oculus if u get the trackers. Some streamer got it to work, it works fine for her. From her reddit post said u just need the Vive towers and trackers

For example, I select Kami's lookout from the worlds list. It loads to 100%, I get in the world and I'm standing on the lookout and then suddenly, Poof it's gone, and I can still see people walking around, and can still jump off the side but I don't see world assets.

Ok, so I just did a little test again, Started VRchat in desktop mode, moved my avatar in front of the mirror, sat and waited to see what happened. As soon as I fired up my vive poof, avatar disappeared. tried again in a world I know vanishes, Turn on VR and bam world details vanish.

there are already people who use modded DLLs to put them on a different layer to make them uncrashable

Send your output log to "moderation@vrchat.com" and include as much info as you can, like which time (Your PC clock) when your screen gets covered then that works just as fine as directly reporting a username.

I believe there's a bug going around that causes the "Master" of the instance (Whoever has been there the longest usually) gets moved to the position of a player who just disconnected.

adding features / gameplay during an alpha is typically highes priority (and solving heavy bugs)
ofc you do optimize stuff as well but you dont want to invest weeks into optimization just to break it with the next feature
