Well, I used to use the Vive method, Trigger+Steam Menu Button. But with the new cameras, it just will not save to Pictures > VRChat.

It should. The pictures get saved there when you press the red button to take a pic.

It's been a thing since the update. There has been reports of particles, or as they are reffered to by the public, "crash guns", causing pc crashes. I assume it's to do with the new system they implimented that limited the amount of emiters and particles, which is for sure a bunch of scripts, and as a result it boosted the crash guns that already were in the game as using these animations caused a lot of interference with the new system which gave birth to a lot of new processes running which then crashes the pc. Just speculating shrug

So we just replace players crashing us with the developers making the game unplayable instead. The stupid selfie stick camera things added now make to game so laggy the framerate and audio are so choppy the game is unplayable when in any populated room. Before the update I could be in rooms with 25+ no problem. Now? 10 and it is unplayable

Thing is, in my opinion, right now mobile VR isn't really helpful for VR in general, because it's a bit of a meh experience.
I've done quite a lot of VR demos for people, and the ones who've already tried stuff like the GearVR or Daydream or whatever almost immediately shit-talk it after a go with the vive.

There was one I encountered last night due to build mismatch and those on the earlier build could hear me, but I couldn't hear them until they updated.
That one should simply clear up as steam updates people's clients to the latest.

@rough pulsar The one with just sound breaking in general, not being able to hear other people, in the sense of it showing them not even talking (no speech indicator or anything). When I first load into a world, I'll hear sounds, or voices, for like, .5 of a second, and then silence. I've tested this with friends, and it's still the same, same build and everything too. Both verified the game cache and all that, but nothing, sadly.

Others can only see the camera itself, aka small red circle, a name of the user and if they open their menu up, they will see a read beam that will indicate the position and the direction in which the camera is facing.
