if you set it to standing play and you have full scale vr if you crouch irl it'll move with you, if you have it set to sitting play, you will stand ingame while sitting down irl

I said seated mode just forces your avatar to stand straight up. There is never anything that can force your avatar to crouch down

What pays the bills? I offer services. I developed an app that allows a tradeshow booth mfgr to come to my studio with their picky clients and we drop the proposed tradeshow booth design into VR and let the client walk around in the booth in various environments. The client always suggests changes, we make changes to the design on the fly. The client signs off on it once they like what they seen. That way what is delivered and set up in the real world is exactly what they remembered seeing in VR in my app.

I was working on a different direction for the company, and a friend who owns one of larger tradeshow booth/sign companies in the area asked me if he sent me the models for a booth if I could pop a problem child client of his who is never happy with what's delivered into VR to look at the booth 'full size' to make sure it was ok.

That was about two years ago, and here we are now.

#

I have two other applications in the works to replace the existing one, since at some point my clients are going to figure out, "Hey, can't we just buy one of these headset things off Amazon and do the exact same thing he does for us but here in our shop?"

at which point I'll just sell licenses for the software package and levels of support.

VrChat encrypts all data going to and from server. Even if they tried to rip an avatar they would get at least some corrupted files and data. The amount of effort it would to actually rip an avatar would be infeasable
