i read on reddit a few others have same problem, its something with a certificate in the files that makes sure its oculus launching the servers etc instead of viruses. for some reason it has a expiry date of today!!

Temporary fix is to change your system time to a few days ago since the certificate just ran out today.

Edit: Also run OVRServiceLauncher.exe with -uninstall and then again with -install -start after changing the date or just restart your system.

The only way to use it is to change system time which has a high risk of fucking other apps up so i would advise against it. Just wait for the certificate to be renewed, keep your email inbox open, as they will prolly not be able to push an update over the main application.

The only way to use it is to change system time which has a high risk of fucking other apps up so i would STRONGLY advise against it. Just wait for the certificate to be renewed, keep your email inbox open, as they will prolly not be able to push an update over the main application, and they will push the update over their website instead.
