I just found out something I wish I knew about before I started making slight microscratches on my lenses from wiping a little too much.
Never knew that that effect I was getting was called "God Rays". I thought they were just straight up smudges. I mean, I did have smudges but not to the extent to where I needed to wipe so much.

Where things get difficult is that the USB adapter you need for the kinect v2 is stupidly expensive. It's both cheaper and easier to open up the kinect and make some adjustments so you can just use a regular USB 3.0 cable and your own power supply to use it with a PC.
