Got an issue in VRC atm, trying to load into some public avatars but my characters get stuck in the T pose and my POV changes from the face area to the legs, I cannot move or do anything at all when this happens.

Yep new SDK is coming. We are releasing on website very soon (within the hour). As for joining friends in specific instances, if you are friends with them you can join through social. If not you can add them as a friend first.
