I'm not sure if this is right but I'll take a guess 😛 I think each animation might be linked to a shape key, maybe every mmd model follows the same shape key naming scheme, so the animations can tie in the pretty much any mmd model, so renaming the shape keys would mean the animator does not know what to attach onto :P? It sounds right in my head.

@vocal shard VR is currently extremely CPU intensive in nature. Where VRchat could be optimized is offloading work to the GPU but my understanding is that this is currently a limitation of the Unity runtime.

apparently if a hacker steals your avatar, you can detach the blueprint ID and upload your avatar with a new ID. Then they lose access to it. But you can upload something else on the original ID and change what they have access to.
so the next time they switch into it, they see what's in your example there
