My irl friend used the oculus with glasses. Hes like almost blind so he had really thick glasses. Basically he didnt really like it but it worked. Thinner glasses should work fine

My friend has glasses and when he tried my oculus it was pretty difficult to get the headset on but once he got it on he said there wasn't any problems

But yeah your view through a vr headset look similar to when you have a motorcycle helmet on. You'll see black edges in the corners of your vision but you don't notice them unless you're paying attention to them.

@safe yacht be best way to describe it is that it projects a separate imagine to each eye which are slighly offset from each other, giving you the depth perception like real life. And similar to how we normally see, your brain is good at filtering out the gap between your eyes so it looks like one complete image.

You do see the borders of the headset in your peripheral vision, but it's not obvious and you tune it out pretty quickly

so if you're in a game like VRC that lets you walk around, some people find that nauseating. Like how you get sick in a car or a boat, you're moving, but your brain is confused because YOU aren't moving

Next time try going to social and blocking anyone you dont know until you find the person causing it. That is if you can through the lag. Blocking the player should despawn the model for you and stop the lag

I've seen a crashing model. It was a speaker that was playing the youtube video of the national radio nuke warning. Then at the end of it would spam particles that caused tons of lag

@safe yacht the rift is unbearably uncomfortable with my larger frames, although i only tried it out in a mall. you can get prescription inserts which i have for my vive but i can use my vive without them. if you have small frames the rift might be fine
