There are some major things that should be implemented before they remove mods. As a content creator, I'll say that mods have a great big giant benefit to making content. (I don't use them because I'm just a sussy otter boy who makes lewd comments and offers myself a lot.)

But many of my favorite content creators use mods to improve their tiktoks and youtube videos and to assist with twitch integration and such. VRChat is shooting themselves in the foot with this move.

Make the QoL improvements based around the mods that are currently in place, then implement EAC. Quit coasting, VRChat devs, and delay the implementation of EAC until you've implemented the qol changes that need to be put in.
