Again if you want to improve your link connection you need to look up making a wifi bridge

That makes it so your quest talks with your bridge router and then per cable with the PC

Without having to go all troug hyour main router slowly, and then your pc also heing on wifi again

Don't bother looking up any wifi adapters for your pc
You will hardly improve anything without a bridge

You need a router that is capable ot accessing the interet with wifi while making it's own wifi hotspot.

What i do is i get a 1gb or better router off my main router modem, and then plug my computer in to that router with a 1gb cable

What you need is to stop your quest from talking to your main router to then wirelessly talk to your pc again.

This double wifi is what is your issue and that's why you need a wifi bridge to improve that

I already have a long Ethernet cable. I don't know what else is really required probably some insulation to protect the cable and I'd prefer it to be as neat as possible. Because if I didn't care about neatness I'd do it myself lol.

Your issue is that you have more than your PC talking to your router.
(And those statements are also highly theoretical)

Your quest is also blocking the same airspace by hopping trough your main router too.

I'll think about it even though I've had no issues with running over WiFi. It would just be so nice to not have to rely on WiFi on my main rig.

One thing I wanna do is actually mount my VR towers and clean up the cables. But I'm kinda waiting to see if anything more worthwhile than the Index comes out for PC.

(I bought it back when it was good and I really like it but it's definitely something that can be improved.)
